Goal of this bachelor thesis is the development of a light-weight web-client for a novel information system, which adapts widely used concepts of social media to the world of classic information systems. The JavaScript based client communicates with the already existent server via REST interfaces and is based on HTML5 technologies. The main focus of this thesis lies on the usability of the client. Multiple support mechanisms like auto-completion, tooltips, and also more advanced mechansism are provided to the user (e.g. when creating, editing or organising information). A modular architecture also provides means for future extensions of the client.
